A
really big flying bug
landed on the screen door outside in the patio area while I was
watering. From the size of the screen mesh, screen structure, and
vertical blinds behind the sliding door, you can see it was probably 6
to 10 inches in wing span. Was it a small bird?
A
harvest of Jalapena and chile peppers "nearly fills" my container on
the kitchen table. From typical spice container in upper right, you can
see the Jalapenos are 2-3 inches long, and chiles are 1-2 inches. How
hot will the salsa be?

| Quote of the moment |
| To be angry at hearing other people speaking highly of one's enemies is totally inappropriate, because at least in the mind of the person who is praising this enemy, there is some sense of fulfillment, some satisfaction. That person is doing so because he or she feels joyous and happy, and one should rejoice in that because one's enemy has caused someone to be satisfied. If possible one should also join in the praise rather than trying to obstruct it. |
