This page does not automatically reload, so hit Reload to get the image to update. A new image is usually uploaded every 10-12 minutes or so. It's usually a pretty quiet neighborhood. Between ms windoz, the webcam software and cable modem, the camera regularly goes "off-line" for hours at a time. So, don't be surprised if you see an old or blank picture.

Here is a page with images from several web cams.

Quote of the moment
[F]rankly ... it was perfectly true that I had, for over a year, expressed the opinion that Indo-China should not go back to France but that it should be administered by an international trusteeship. France has had the country ... for nearly one hundred years, and the people are worse off than they were at the beginning.... France has milked it for one hundred years. The people of Indo-China are entitled to something better than that.
~ Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882–1945), U.S. president. letter, Jan. 24, 1944, to Cordell Hull. The Roosevelt Letters, vol. 3, p. 493, ed. Elliott Roosevelt, George G. Harrup & Co., Ltd. (1952).

Roosevelt upset Churchill and the French with his anti- colonialism, which was obvious from the beginning of the war. ~
